The most powerful Galaxy device is coming…
Samsung have announced a new Galaxy Unpacked event that’s set to make this spring a little more bright and sunny.
The event will take place at 3pm on the 28th of April and Samsung themselves have teased that we’ll be seeing “the most powerful” Galaxy device yet.
We know not to underestimate Samsung’s events as every one of them has given us something worth shouting from the rooftops about.
We recently were graced with three new incredible additions to the Galaxy family: the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra. The Galaxy A52 5G made its mark and lived up to all that the budget A series has to offer.
So, how could Samsung possibly top all of this? You ask. Well, if their hints and clues are anything to go on, we think we’re in for quite the show.
What will it be, Samsung?
The first major clue we have is the mention of ‘Galaxy’. There’s been speculations whirling around the internet that this event will unleash the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3. Which according to TechRadar, will be the successor of the Galaxy Z Fold 2.
The rumours surrounding this release are an S Pen that’ll make staying productive a lot easier – especially while working at home. TechRadar have also stated that the Z Fold 3 will have an in-screen camera and will be the first Samsung to have one.
Of course, this is all just hearsay. Their use of the word Galaxy could relate to a whole world of devices, including a new Galaxy Tablet launch or even a new addition to the Galaxy Fan Edition series.
Talk of a new Galaxy S21 FE is well underway, but TechRadar and reputable leaker Evan Blass seem to think it’s a little early on in the year for that – if we’re going on when the Galaxy S20 FE was revealed to us.
Their sneaky use of the words ‘most powerful’ suggests to us that we wont be seeing non-flagship phones like new members of the Galaxy A family. We don’t think that other devices quite match the fit either such as new Galaxy Buds.
All other clues indicate a new Galaxy Book laptop and considering the fact that the current models were announced back in 2019, we think this is a safe bet to place.
According to The Verge, a new Galaxy Book, with updates to its display and processor, would easily take the crown as the new and well-deserved, most powerful Galaxy device.
Samsung are already rumoured to be working on a new Galaxy Book Pro line of their laptops and The Verge seem to think that they’ll feature whopping 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch OLED panels.
As well as this, the new line of laptops is said to support the S-Pen and be 5G compatibility – great news for the workaholics of the world.
This next clue is us and the rest of the internet reaching. If you look closely at the invitation, there’s a wedge of light on screen that looks somewhat like an opened laptop – if you’re willing to use your imagination a little.
See you in a week!
Samsung have kept their cards very close to their chest and we simply cant put our finger on what next week’s event will hold.
Will it be the next Z Fold? Will we see people starting a fan club for the new S21 FE? Will it be something for the hard workers of the world? We won’t know until the 28th, but boy are we excited.
