Grab a free pair of Pixel Buds Pro, worth £179.

Well, spring has finally sprung. Sort of. And whether it's gorgeous sunshine or raining buckets where you are, we've decided we want to celebrate the return of the light – and Google are fully on board.

As we've come to expect when it comes to a gift from Google, they're a brand that goes all out. Which we can thoroughly get on board with! In fact, they're giving away one of our favourite things – an awesome pair of earbuds.

Yup, when you buy a Google Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 Pro, you can treat yourself to an amazing pair of Pixel Buds Pro, totally free. So not only do you get the sheer delight of playing with your new phone, but you can also pop in your new earbuds and enjoy sounds like never before, too.

Maybe if you turn it up loud and dance hard enough, you'll be able to justify all the chocolate eggs you're about to eat in the next month or so. Your call.

What’s the deal?

We like to keep things nice and simple, so there's no fuss to get your freebie.

Once you've placed your order for a Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 Pro, sit back and wait patiently for it to arrive (did we mention we offer free next-day delivery?), and when it's in your hands, you can pop in a claim online through the promotional site (we'll email you think link, because we're good like that.)

So long as you place your order between the 22nd of March and the 19th of April 2023, you'll be eligible to claim using the online form. Just keep hold of your Proof of Purchase, as you'll need it to, well, prove you've made a purchase.

How good are the Pixel Buds Pro?

Well, we think they're a tasty treat that's even better than an Easter egg, to be honest. Though chocolate is always welcome, too.

Basically, Google took a long hard look at their A-series of earbuds and made just about everything way better. From innovative noise cancelling tech to adaptive comfort eartips that mould to fit your ear perfectly, there's rather a lot to love.

How do they sound?

Though the Pixel Buds Pro are small, they're built for big music – which means a custom designed 11mm speaker and full 5-band EQ so you can customise everything just the way you like it. There's also smart Volume EQ in there too, so highs, mids and lows stay balanced even when you turn the volume up to eleven.

There's also Active Noise Cancellation, and not just an off-the-shelf choice, either. Google have gone above and beyond to build their own integrated Silent Seal system that uses custom algorithms, a custom processor and customer speakers that constantly take in external sound, analyse it, and then simply cancel it. Zip. Gone. Nada.

However, the Pixel Buds Pro also prioritise your safety, so even though the noise cancellation tech is beyond belief, you can also turn on Transparency mode to hear outside sounds in real time. So you can get around and cross the road safely.

Okay – so are they comfortable?

Soooo comfortable. The Pixel Buds Pro have mouldable, pliable eartips that adapt to the shape of your ear – so not only is there a great seal to keep sound in, but they actively measure the pressure in your ear to make sure you don't get that wacky blocked ear underwater feeling.

And of course, you don't have to take them in and out to control them – the Pixel Buds Pro let you control incoming calls and media with a tap and swipe to adjust the volume or touch and hold to turn on Active Noise Cancellation.

What's the connection like?

Brilliant. Multipoint, in fact, since the Pixel Buds Pro use multipoint connectivity to automatically switch between your devices as you need them to – on Android and iOS. You can also use Google Assistant entirely hands-free, and even customise the touch controls if you're using a Pixel device of Android 6.0 or later.

As for making calls, even in the windiest places you'll be heard clearly, as Pixel Buds Pro pack awesome beamforming mics, wind-blocking mesh covers and a voice accelerometer to make sure every word comes through like crystal.

If that sounds like it might drain the battery, you'd be wrong – you can get up to 11 hours of listening time, and up to 31 hours when you have your charging case with you. And if that's not enough, you can charge them wirelessly with your Pixel Stand or other Q—compatible chargers.

Sounds pretty darn good. How long is this awesome offer available?

You can nab yourself a free pair of Pixel Buds Pro when you buy a new Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 Pro up until the 19th of April 2023 and claim online from the 22nd of March until the 11th of May – so you can treat yourself to the perfect Easter freebie!
