The feature was first introduced on the Galaxy S25 series, helping users edit saved videos by removing distracting sounds.
With the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung has taken Audio Eraser further with real-time audio control while watching supported content.
How does Audio Eraser work?
Using an AI-powered sound engine, Audio Eraser analyses audio and separates different sounds happening at the same time. This allows you to reduce background noise and focus on the sounds you want to hear.

How to use Audio Eraser on Samsung Galaxy phones.
On compatible Galaxy devices, you can access Audio Eraser while watching content through the Quick Panel.
Simply swipe down from the top of your screen, tap the Audio Eraser icon and adjust the settings to suit your surroundings. You can use the Strength slider to control noise reduction or turn on Voice Focus to make dialogue clearer.
