iPhone 12 is here but will it be a new customer favourite? Let’s find out…

iPhone 11 has been our best-selling iPhone since September 2019. For the third month running, it has held its top spot on our list of the 10 best mobiles for November – our customers can’t get enough of it.

With Black Friday fast approaching and our sale already live and buzzing, we thought you’d want to hear how the iPhone 11 compares to the new iPhone 12 so you can decide which to opt for.

The new iPhone 12 was released just last month and offers many upgrades over iPhone 11, from super-fast 5G tech and a faster chip to an all new camera system, so let’s take a closer look…

Design: More than meets the eye.

When the iPhone 11 was released we were all utterly blown away by its design, and, let’s face it, we still are. It packs a gorgeous 6.1-inch display, which is the same size as the new iPhone 12.

Customers who opt for iPhone 11 get to choose between six stunning colours: black, PRODUCT(RED), yellow, purple, green and white. It looks premium and expensive with its tough glass design plus it can be submerged in up to two metres of water for 30 minutes.

All sounds pretty great, huh? There’s a reason it’s our customers’ favourite iPhone, but along came iPhone 12 which boasts lots of advancements in design.

iPhone 12 packs a 6.1-inch display with barley there bezels. It also features an all new material called ceramic shield which is manufactured by introducing nano-ceramic crystals into glass.

This is new and exclusive to iPhone 12 and gives it a 4x better drop performance than iPhone 11 – meaning it’s the one to opt for if you’re on the clumsy side. iPhone 12 is also built to resist scratches and everyday wear and tear making it super-durable, while its aerospace-grade aluminium edges add to its beauty.

iPhone 12 also raises the bar for water resistance, boasting an IP68 rating. It can be submerged up to 6 metres for 30 minutes – that’s a whopping 4 metres more than iPhone 11!

The new iPhone has one less colour choice than the iPhone 11, so if you’re a fan of the colour yellow then we’re sorry to say it’s been axed. But don’t worry, iPhone 12 is still available in five stunning colours. Choose from black, white, green, PRODUCT(RED) or blue.

Display: The Same but different…

iPhone 11 boasts a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina LCD display meaning that everything you watch will be brought to life.

Some of you may have noticed that the display includes a notch at the top for its selfie camera, which impressively is used to recognise your face – another great perk of the iPhone 11.

iPhone 12 had a lot to live up to in terms of its display, but we’re pleased to say it’s exceeded all expectations. Packing a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display with slimmer bezels, it’s the perfect device for streaming your favourite shows and movies.

4K video recording isn’t a simple task and many chips wouldn’t be able to handle it, however for the A13, it’s no problem at all. Things like gaming and AR apps are challenging aspects for phones to process but the A13 does it seamlessly.
