Whether you’re upgrading from an older iPhone or simply want Apple’s latest and greatest, there’s plenty to get excited about.

iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are here, bringing better cameras, longer battery life, faster performance and a premium new design. The latest Pro models are designed to make the things you already do on your phone even better.

A camera made for real life.

The camera is one of the biggest reasons people upgrade their phone, and iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max bring a seriously capable setup.

Both models have three 48MP rear cameras, giving you plenty of flexibility for everyday photos, portraits, landscapes and close-ups.

The main camera gets a new adjustable aperture, which basically means it can adapt to the lighting around you. In darker conditions, it can let in more light to help your photos look brighter and clearer.

You also get a 48MP Ultra Wide camera for fitting more into the frame, plus up to 8x optical-quality zoom when you want to get closer to your subject. Whether you’re snapping your mates, capturing a holiday view or trying to get a decent shot from the back of a crowd, there’s more flexibility to get the photo you want.

Video gets some useful upgrades too, including improved low-light recording, cinematic effects that can be added after filming and Dual Capture, which lets you record from the front and rear cameras at the same time.

Bigger, brighter and built to last.

iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max keep the premium look you’d expect from Apple, with a durable unibody design and Ceramic Shield protection. There are four finishes to choose from, including the new Burgundy, alongside Black, Silver and Glacier.

The main difference between the two models is size. iPhone 18 Pro is the more compact choice at 6.3-inches, while the iPhone 18 Pro Max gives you a bigger 6.9-inch screen for watching Netflix, gaming, browsing and editing photos.

Both displays are designed to look bright, sharp and smooth, making everyday scrolling feel more fluid and giving films, photos and games plenty of detail. The redesigned Dynamic Island also gives you more information at a glance, so you can keep up with things like live updates without constantly switching between apps.

Fast performance when you need it.

Powered by Apple’s new A20 Pro chip, both the 18 Pro and Pro Max pack plenty of power for everything from everyday apps and gaming to photography and video editing.

In real-world use, that means you can expect a fast, responsive experience whether you’re jumping between apps, playing games or editing photos. An improved cooling system also helps the phone maintain its performance for longer when you’re doing more demanding tasks.

The extra power also supports Apple’s latest AI features. Siri AI is more conversational and capable, while Apple Intelligence can help with things like photo editing, writing and finding information on your phone.

A battery that goes the distance.

Nobody wants to be hunting for a charger halfway through the day, so the improved battery life on the new iPhone 18 Pro range is a welcome upgrade.

iPhone 18 Pro Max can deliver up to 43 hours of video playback, which is six hours more than iPhone 17 Pro Max. That means more time streaming, gaming, browsing and doing everything else you enjoy without worrying about your battery.

When you do need to charge, faster charging means you can reach up to 50% battery in around 15 minutes with a compatible power adapter. The Pro Max can also give you up to seven hours of video playback from just five minutes of charging – ideal when you’re rushing out the door and your phones about to die.

iPhone 18 Pro or iPhone 18 Pro Max?

Both models offer the same core Pro experience, including the upgraded camera system, A20 Pro performance and latest Apple Intelligence features. The choice mainly comes down to size and battery life.

iPhone 18 Pro is a great option if you want all the latest Pro features in a phone that’s easier to handle. If you want the biggest screen and the longest battery life possible, iPhone 18 Pro Max is the one to look at.

Whichever you choose, both models bring some worthwhile upgrades to the things you use your iPhone for every day – from taking photos and watching videos to gaming, browsing and staying connected.
