Haven’t you heard? The UK is the new Spain.

The whole of the UK is still trying to figure out what all of this Green List and Amber List nonsense means.

We’ve heard so much about PCR tests and negative results, that we’re all dreaming about them at night. For some of you, this is enough to put you off entirely, which means a staycation in the UK is your only option this summer.

We can’t fault you, there are a number of gorgeous locations dotted around the country that’ll have you feeling as though you’re on some exotic island somewhere.

The great news is, EE are coming with you this summer. Don’t worry, they won’t need an extra seat in your car or room for more luggage.

It’s their epic 5G that’s coming along with you for the ride. Being the awesome, high-performing network that they are, EE want to make sure you can get online – wherever you choose to holiday.

EE-xciting opportunities.

EE’s hard-working network team have been busy installing new masts and boosting signal coverage in key tourist locations up and down the UK.

This increased signal strength will give EE users access to better, stronger 5G. EE are focusing on those really crowded places this summer, which means getting online will be quicker than the queue for a Mr Whippy ice cream.

EE have carried out extensive research and have discovered a range of cell sites around the UK that were highly congested over July, August and September last year.

These areas have now been identified as ‘5G summer hotspots’ and from July, were given a little extra attention to better your holidays this summer.

You don’t need to get on a plane to enjoy your holiday, with these 5G hotspots, you’ll be able to capture your beautiful moments and upload them straight to your socials.

Checking in at the UK’s best aquarium or a fancy seafood restaurant? You’re in luck. There will be no buffering or lagging this summer, just plain sailing – pardon the pun.

So, which areas have bagged themselves a ‘hotspot’ title? You ask. There are a number of different locations that have been given a 5G makeover.

Sunny Blackpool is on the list, with the pier and main high street receiving the most attention. Whether you’re eating fish and chips by the sea or winning on the 2p machines in the arcades, your mobile will have impeccable 5G service.

Will it be sunny Blackpool this summer?

Fancy something a little further south? How about the gorgeous Paignton Beach in Devon? We’ve been and we’re speaking from experience when we say that it’s one of the most beautiful beaches we’ve ever visited.

And it’s even better now that EE’s 5G is stronger than ever in this location. There are whole bunch of locations on the list:

• Isle of Sheppy

o Barton’s Point Coastal park

• Paignton

o  Paignton beach
