    I didn't buy my last contract from Buymobiles, can I still upgrade with you?

    You absolutely can. We can upgrade everyone on O2 and Vodafone, no matter where you got your last mobile contract from. If you’re current plan is with Three or another network, we can still upgrade you to a better deal today.

    When is the best time to upgrade my mobile?

    There are a number of key dates you can add to your diary around mobile phone launches. While a specific date can’t always be guaranteed for a new mobile, there are a number of trends you can follow. We devised a a handy guide to help you determine the best time to upgrade.

    Can I keep the same number?

    Upgrading and keeping the same number is super straightforward when you upgrade on the same network. Your number will automatically be transferred over to your new upgrade plan. If you’re changing networks, don’t worry. You can simply port your number across and keep everything the same.

    How much will upgrading cost?

    Providing that your eligible to upgrade, it’s likely that you won’t have to pay anything upfront. We have a number of epic upgrade deals to choose from, some with a £0 upfront cost. If you’re looking to reduce the amount you pay a month, you can pay an upfront cost.

    I'm not eligible to upgrade yet, but I need a new mobile. What can I do?

    If you’re not eligible to upgrade yet, you can browse our range of SIM-free mobile deals and slip it in your current mobile until you can upgrade. If you’re too eager to wait, you can pay an Early Termination Fee and upgrade early.

    Can I upgrade early on my network?

    If you want to upgrade early, you may need to pay an Early Termination Fee. If you’re unsure when are eligible to upgrade, you can give us a call on 0345413626.

    O2: Each April, your monthly subscription charge will increase by the Retail Price Index (RPI) rate published in February of that year plus 3.9%. If RPI is negative, only the 3.9% will be applied

    Vodafone: During your minimum period, each year, on the 1st of April, your monthly plan charge will increase by £1.80 (£1.00 for Pay monthly Basics plans). Out of bundle charges will increase each April by the Consumer Price Index rate published in January of that year + 3.9%.
