Vodafone coverage covers more than 99% of the UK and includes over 212 roaming destinations, too. As for 5G coverage, Vodafone is rolling out service to new locations every day, offering faster speeds than ever across 124 UK locations and 240 locations in the EU. The main difference between Vodafone 4G and 5G is speed. Vodafone currently offers 4G across 99% of the UK, and their 5G coverage is quickly catching up. With 5G, you can expect speeds between 150-200Mbps with a maximum speed of 1Gbps (while 4G speeds are closer to 23-35Mbps.) On Vodafone's 5G, that equates to being able to download a full HD film in around 3 minutes.
With 5G rolling out further afield every day, we'd recommend buying a Vodafone deal with 5G, since it comes at no extra cost. So long as your mobile supports 5G, you can enjoy incredible data speeds, for the same price as a 4G plan.
If your device supports 4G but not 5G, you won't be able to access the Vodafone 5G network. To gain access to 5G speeds, you'll need a mobile phone that uses the relevant 5G technology.

O2: Each April, your monthly subscription charge will increase by the Retail Price Index (RPI) rate published in February of that year plus 3.9%. If RPI is negative, only the 3.9% will be applied
Vodafone: During your minimum period, each year, on the 1st of April, your monthly plan charge will increase by £1.80 (£1.00 for Pay monthly Basics plans). Out of bundle charges will increase each April by the Consumer Price Index rate published in January of that year + 3.9%.
